At Sri Kanakadasa Orphanage located in Raichur, we believe the best thing for a child to receive is to be a part of an affectionate and caring FAMILY. For more than 19 years, we strive to bring as much love to the orphan children as possible with a lot of hard work.
Changing these beautiful individuals' lives and making a difference by encouraging them to pursue their passion, talents, and unique dreams are our priority. As a home for hope, we have provided a safe home for 89 students from the beginning.
Started in 2001, we are operating this orphanage with family funds without association with government or private funds in any way. Our mission's very heart is to inspire children and help them rewrite their stories in a way that inspires others. With a strong background, our family allows children to get into a nurturing environment and provide the best.
In the beginning, we took care of 89 children with a monthly expense of Rs.90,000, all from family funds. We have children at the age of 3 to 18 who are looking forward to shaping their bright future. We believe in making dreams come true with a loving hand. Since then, we have expanded as a big family and have a goal to take care of 500 children.
Currently operating from a rented building, our goal is to buy two acres of land to empower children. Apart from this, we have successfully helped in the marrying off 8-10 boys. As we are being expanded into a big family, donations and generosity from people like you can help them accomplish great things. The organization is devoted to the welfare and development of orphaned children, and we are slowly expanding our support for more children, encouraging them to make a difference. Sri Kanakadasa Orphanage serves as the extra support that every child needs and deserves. Dedicated to providing long-term and consistent support, we ensure that children growing in our care have proven to develop in their confidence over time and have a better and brighter future. Our sustainable solution has made sure that the vulnerable orphans receive proper care, making a significant difference in the life of those small minds affected by hardships.
